Altegra has had a long lasting relationship with The Range whereby we’ve been supporting the retailer with it’s material handling requirements since it’s inception.
We have recently been awarded pre planned maintenance work on 180 stores. This activity has been ramped up following the acquisition of Wilko.
This work involves the installation and repairs of roller shutter doors, steel doors, aluminium screen works and automatic doors.
The Range required an installer with ADSA accreditation and DHF trained engineers to work on site.
The speed in which The Range acquired Wilko meant that Altegra had to map out a detailed PPM to coincide with store openings along with routine servicing and repairs.
Mike Bull, Altegra’s Installation Manager commented, ‘We pride ourselves on becoming a partner of choice and our ability to adapt to The Range’s needs and requirements as they continue to grow. We are a customer focussed organisation that is commited to service and it’s a great project for us to work on with a company that shared many of our core values.’
'Our network of sites across the UK has rapidly expanded thanks to new store openings for The Range and the relaunch of wilko, and that means we have more retail space to manage and maintain than ever before.
Ensuring our stores are accessible, safe and work at their best for customers and team members alike is our top priority, and Altegra’s support in delivering maintenance work that meets our high standards is indispensable to the business.' The Range, spokesperson.
