Happy Days Nursery

Altegra were instructed to replace 56 windows across 8 units at Happy Days Nursery, Plymouth. 

We installed the Cortizo Aluminium Casement Window System across the units. This system is highly efficient, with a thermal break zone of 32 mm and a transmittance Uw from 1,0 W/ m²K. The system holds a British security certification PAS 24 making it highly secure. Part of the install involved working around security grills and cables across two of the windows.

Altegra engineers carried out the work over a weekend to have a clear run of all of the units that needed replacing. This ensured the site was safe and secure to counteract any safeguarding issues from working onsite with children.

The finished result has left the nursery with a sleek modern window system that’s highly efficient reducing the sites energy bills, extra security and an easy to use system.
